Greetings ToW-Patrol,

"That's all you're taking?"
"Yes. I've got the laptop in here too."
"Are you aware that's Thomas' suitcase?"

Thomas is my five year old son. I was determined to pack lightly for the San Diego Comic-Con trip this year. Last year, I thought it would be marketing genius to distribute coupons at the show, but underestimated the immense weight and volume they provided for my boulderous suitcase. This year, we left the coupons at home... who needs them when we're running OUR BEST SALE EVER? If the sale is news to you, below you'll find links to the sale catalogs, which contain hundreds of deeply discounted sale products. $99 of books will get you free shipping. 130 titles will be taken out of the Marvel sale trades catalog on Monday morning.

Anyway, I'm currently flying back from Comic-Con and the most eloquent way I can describe the experience is MAN... WHAT A SHOW! Sorry, 2 hours of sleep. I'll let the pictures do the talking in our next newsletter. I packed my camera (at the expense of an extra pair of socks), so you won't have to endure the crummy cell phone pictures this year. While the greasy cell phone lens provided an atmospheric, dream-like filter to my portraits, I suppose it was time for an upgrade.

All the best,
Andy
